Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Vineetha is a musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a special interest in Women's, Men's and Pelvic Health.  Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2015, she gained a wide range of experience within private practice and sports team settings, expanding her treatment repertoire with dry needling and mat pilates skills, amongst others.  In 2020, Vineetha moved to Perth to complete a Masters in Continence and Women’s Health at Curtin University.  During this time she also established a volunteer Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service within a Women's Health charity. This expanded her insight into Women's Health concerns from a diverse range of backgrounds and circumstances.  

 

Vineetha is a passionate advocate for Women's Health. With a collaborative and holistic approach to her practice she aims to empower women in their own health management and approaches every interaction with respect, openness and sincerity. She strongly believes in maintaining continuing professional development and keeps up to date with the latest research, integrating this into her practice. 

 

Outside of work, Vineetha loves staying active either at the gym or going for hikes and exploring the world through cooking.

. Pelvic Girdle Pain (including pubis symphysis, sacroiliac, coccygeal and deep gluteal pain) - sport, pregnancy or general    hip, groin and back pain dysfunction

. Internal Pelvic Pain (including Vulvodynia, Vaginisssmus, Endometriosis, Dyspareunia) 

. Pelvic Floor Muscle Dysfunction

. Incontinence (bladder or bowel)

. Prolapse 

. Overactive bladder / Urgency

. Pre-/Post-Natal education, treatment and management

. Pre-/Post-Operative care (including prostatectomy)

. Abdominal separation

. Deep Core Retraining

. Return to Sport Programmes

. Dysynergic Defaecation
