Pelvic Pain/Tension Release Class

This pelvic pain/tension release class is a 60 minute online class, designed and run by Felicity, one of our Pelvic Physiotherapists (and yoga teacher) that uses a combination of mindful movement, breath practices and deep relaxation to soften pelvic tension and decrease pelvic pain. 

Aims of the class:

  1. Build awareness of tensions in your pelvic region

  2. Help you soften through the pelvic floor, hips, abdomen and low back

  3. Free the muscles, fascia and nerves that can contribute to pelvic pain

  4. Assist you to feel safe and calm in your own body

This class is an excellent complement to 1:1 treatment with your Pelvic Physio


It is suitable for anyone experiencing pelvic pain from (for example):

  • Endometriosis

  • Adenomyosis

  • Vaginismus

  • Vulvodynia

  • Bladder pain syndrom

  • Pudendal neuralgia

  • Prostatitis

  • Coccyx pain

  • Menstrual cycles


Please note: this is not a class for pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain.  For this, please book in for an appointment with one of our Pelvic Health Physio's for an individualised programme, as the cause of the pelvic girdle pain can vary significantly between women, so there is no 'one size fits all' approach. 

Where Is It? 

This class is being run online, to optimise accessibility.  This means that you can join from home, work, the park or whilst on holiday! After booking, you will receive an email detailing how to access the class - it's very easy with a direct link (no software downloads needed).  All you will need is a portable device (phone, laptop, tablet) with a camera and microphone. 



What to wear / what equipment to have:

  1. Wear clothing that you are comfortable moving around in, in different positions including on the floor.  Tracksuits, leggings or shorts with a comfy top are ideal.

  2. A yoga/exercise mat, or somewhere comfortable to lay down (ideally a firm surface, not a bed).



Single Class: $39.90-

5 Class Pass: $183.75- ($36.75-/class)

10 Class Pass: $346.50- ($34.65-/class)

Your first class is free, to enable you to trial the class and see if it is right for you. 

After that, all classes are claimable from your health fund if you have extras cover (code 561).  We are unable to claim them directly on the HICAPs machine unfortunately (this is standard for all Physio run classes), but we will provide you with the receipt that you can submit to your health fund to receive your rebate. 

If you buy the class pass, you will be able to claim your rebate on completion of the whole pass. Unfortunately the health funds don't allow you to claim them individually when bought as a package.


NOTE: the class passes have no time limit on their useage, classes are run on a rolling week by week basis, not in term-time blocks.
